Notes

I have a weakness for coned yarn, bargain yarn, yarn in someone’s estate (it was probably well-loved and needs a new home, right?), yarn that I might be able to do something with when no one else sees the potential. So I have lots of “rescued” yarn. I need to use it or at least swatch it to decide if it should be kept or not. So here are my goals for this:

Q1 Goals

  1. Dish towel warp using colors I like. Done. 2328 yds.
  2. Dish towel warp using colors I don’t love. Done. 2898 yds.
  3. Baby blanket using the thicker cotton cones. Done. 1128 yds warp, 1662 yds weft.
  4. Swatch for spring sweater using linen cones.Done. Four swatches, love them all! Want to cast on now!*
  5. Weave at least one of the dishtowel warps by March 31. Finished! Estimated 1430 yards of weft was used!

Not in the original goals, but I used coned yarn for a baby vertebrae sweater that is complete. 220 yards

Total Yards Used: 9,666!

  • but casting on will have to wait until I have some WIPs off the list!
