Notes

07-18-2016

I decided to work this pattern in a thicker yarn than is called for and with a yarn that will have a more color block look to each shell. I love how the first shell worked up and I am looking forward to making more of them. This is an easy pattern to remember.

I did make a change at the beginning of each shell to make it easier to work the short rows.

I added a fully knit row to the beginning of each shell and this made it easier to make the short row w&t stitches. It didn’t change the look of the shells.

I am now using three colors of the Unforgettable yarn to make this shawl. I decided that using one colorway didn’t really give enough interest to the color changes. I am going to do 12 shells of each color and them try to put them together in a random way.
