with 3 mm needle, double cast-on (judy’s magic) 22 sts x 2 in blue
Work in stockinette st in the round for 3 cm (16 rounds)
Change for white and work 4 cm (21 rounds)
Change for red (i had to go down 2 sizes of needle) and work 3 cm (18 rounds)
Close with kitchener st.

Insert a thrad in the middle of the white band and wrap around a few times to tighten.

Make a central band in white:
CO 12sts
Row 1 : K
Row 2 : S1 K1 P8 K2
Row 3 : S1 K11

Repeat rows 2 & 3 for 8 cm (38 rows in total)
Close with kitchener st.

Insert the tie in the band et voilà
