the yarn is nice and soft, but am slightly disappointed: 4 out of 8 skeins have had knots. two skeins had knots close enough to the end that they could be cut out and I only lost a couple of feet, but the other two have knots pretty far in and I’ll need to cut and weave in an extra set of ends. rather annoying since there are already so many in this large piece of knitting.

the stitch pattern was pretty fun, and the finished poncho is amazing, but man, those huge needles were a pain, literally, they made my wrist and hand quite sore, I don’t think I will be doing any projects with such large needles again any time soon.
