Yarn held double.
The swatch on 10 1/2 needles was a touch too big and all loose and floppy and no way would it block even the slightest breeze.
9’s make a much nicer fabric, and seems to be spot on for gauge.

Turkish cast on, twisting all cables the same direction.

left the 108 stitches around the face on a holder instead of binding off.

used EZ’s one row button hole, much neater than the two row hole in the pattern. therefore 15 rows between holes.
