5 August A very interesting knit, with its short row pattern. I added some extra shaping at the front neck and shoulder seam, using some short row shaping on the final main colour rows.
I particularly like the slim sleeve, which needed extra length, even for my short arms.
The small size is quite big enough for me and, although I usually like something more fitted, I’m quite happy with this relaxed shape. Needs black trousers though!

15 July One pattern repeat - half the back - now done. Stitch tension accurate, row tension long.

I’m seriously intrigued by this pattern which uses short rows rather than intarsia.
I’m making the small size as the pattern has a lot of ease.
