Love the pattern - had to refer to the graphic a few times to work out what was going on, but it was really well written and I didn’t end up having to improvise solutions to problems at any point.

Not so keen on the yarn I used. It looks lovely on the skein, but it doesn’t feel nice to knit with - rough and tough. I’d make it in a softer, even coloured yarn next time.

Mum and I both have fairly large heads - the beret fit us snugly around the band, but not uncomfortably.
