Limey wanted a smaller, not slouchy version of the Rikke hat. Knitted the brim with 3.5 and 4.0, then changed to 4.5 needles. Started with decreases at ca. 7 cm. To get a slower decrease (because of the smaller hat body) I worked 1 decrease row, one purl row, one knit row and one purl row without decreases – then repeated this to end of pattern. I did one purl row after the last row (16 stitches) and decreased one time more (8 stitches left).
