CO 60 and work in round. Work four repeats of st pattern before shaping armholes, divide and work back and forth. Work one full repeat of st pattern plus two rows before shaping for shoulders. Work 5 sts in pattern, BO 10 sts, then do remaining 5 sts in pattern. End with 4 sts for each shoulder. 9 sts on ea side of ctr st for front. Decrease ea side to 4 sts as back. PU 48 sts for neck and 30 sts for armbands.

After finishing both the hat and vest, I had about 24 yards left out of one skein of the grey, and 10 yards left from two skeins of the yellow.
