I’m using scraps and leftovers to make this. I had Elijah pick from a selection of several colors and he picked white, blue, and green. This works up amazingly quickly, even with my beginner skills, though I think I’m still doing something wrong, because when I sc into the join, I end up with too many sts, but when I go into the next st, I end up with a spiral. It’s not too noticeable, though, and he likes how it’s turning out so far.

My husband suggested using PVC piping instead of cardboard tubes for the structure, so that’s what I did. I also sewed more than just the five sts at the back, to tighten it up a bit. I wish I had slip stitched around the top of the bottom part, but I did not.
