5-11-12 I got this beautiful blue wool blend yarn from a friend and finally decided to try it in Doris Chan’s Persimmon Pullover. I love her patterns and this is the first I will be trying. This is a worsted yarn, so my gauge swatch with an H hook measured 4 1/4” square. I will try the small and hope the gauge works out to fit as a medium.
6-5-12 So after working the beginning of the pattern a bunch of times (to the underarm join) in both medium and small, I chose to make the small size. I tend to make shorter dc than I should so I, like many of the others that have made this pattern, added rows to the torso to get the band to sit lower. It fits great and I absolutely love the look. I can’t wait for the colder weather so I can show it off :)
