Using the YO method for intarsia in the round (no “floats”)

Old Norwegian Cast On

Ran out of yarn with 45 sts left (decrease round 11). Still wove yarn through live stitches per pattern, so I have extra slouchy/cinched crown.

I wish I had put the intarsia seam not as close to the heart. I seamed at the beginning of round marker, but I think about 10 stitches prior to the marker would have been better.

(You can kind of see the seam in the flat photos -- it’s on the right of the heart when looking at the RS and of the left of the heart when looking at the hat inside-out.)
