To make picking up the stitches easier, I used locking stitch markers to mark out even sections in which I picked up 15 stitches. So if I reached the next maker and had more or fewer than 15, I only had to undo back to the previous stitch marker

Overall, I find the pattern to be well-written. Though I should note that I’m using the chart and I haven’t looked at the written-out section for the lace.
