Changing hydra image to a Bohr model of the atom.

The purple and the gray look pretty much identical in black and white, which means they’re really close in value, so not the greatest choice for colorwork (there’s not a lot contrast between the colors). But I’m going to go ahead anyways, and just have a more subdued/less noticeable design.

MC = purple (left hand/bottom)
CC = gray (right hand/top)

Turns out the chart mod is a bit more difficult that I thought it would be…drawing the atom on top of the hydra isn’t the best, but it’s workable. Ideally I’d open up excel and make a new chart, but I’m lazy.

Adding 1 extra round to thumb gusset.

Used Elastic bind off (pg 170 in Cast On, Bind Off by Leslie Ann Bestor), but it didn’t look right. Unpicking and replacing with Interlock bind off (pg 202).

I need to pay more attention to my floats. They’re getting a bit tight, especially when I only use a color for one stitch (surrounded by blocks of the other color).
