Based on my (eons ago) gauge from my previous stranded colorwork project with this yarn, I’m going to wing it with US3 for the ribbing and US4 for the colorwork. We’ll see if it bites me.

Tubular Cast-On (Cast On Bind Off, Leslie Ann Bestor, pg 120): 4 rows setup, loop row, 2 rows ribbing flat before joining in the round.

MC / black in right hand (float on top)
CC / yellow-orange in left hand (float on bottom)

For m1l and m1r, picking up strand of same color as stitch about to knit.

End of hand: 1 round knit in MC, 6 rounds rib, invisible ribbed bind off (Cast On Bind Off, Leslie Ann Bestor, pg 197).

Thumb: pick up 2 extra stitches in gap. 1st round knit, and reduce two extra stitches. 4 rounds rib, invisible ribbed bind off (Cast On Bind Off, Leslie Ann Bestor, pg 197).
