12/18/15--Finished the knitting. Now soaking for a wet block.

The braid detail at the beginning is really fiddly at first, but once you get the hang of it, it goes quickly, and it looks fabulous.

The blue of the yarn is much brighter: more of a royal blue than a navy. Blame the incandescent lighting in my craft room for crap photos.
