Not as wide, maybe a bit longer. Finer weight?

Cast on with backwards loop because of huge number of stitches (342), then did the first 7 rows. Kept getting weird errors - random yarn overs, dropped stitches, mistakenly identified dropped stitches turned into M1s…it looked awful. And the cast on edge was weird. Frogged the whole thing and started over with cable cast on (a little more time consuming but OH SO NICE). Garter edging finished without a hitch.
Starting main pattern now, 4:18 in.

So much for the lack of hitches…
3 rows into the main pattern and I discovered my count was off so I counted the row, 346 instead of 342. How??? No idea. Put a lifeline in the garter section and frogged back. I’m now stopping to count every 2 rows and strongly considering automatic lifelines. I thought this would be a breeze!!

Well, I’m on my 4th re-do now. The last one was all my own fault, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the instructions for the doozy stitch. Missed one TINY detail and it all goes to crap.
Ran another lifeline (in the edging because it’s the only place I can get to easily on this thing) and ripped back again. I’m not messing around this time though. Got some floss last night so lifelines will be added in before each new doozy row, and I’m counting every other row. NO MORE MISTAKES!
God this should have been easy. -_-

It’s finally coming together. My doozies are a bit loose but I’m hoping blocking will even that out a bit. At this point, she’s getting whatever comes out because I’m so done with this!

FINISHED! Holy spaghetti monster, this thing was a chore. It looks nice though. Hopefully a good blocking will cure the curling.
