Making a new scarf for myself using “petal stitch”. Details for this stitch were found in “Good housekeeping Crochet” published in 1981 by Ebury Press.

I like the texture this stitch creates… would make a great blanket. I’m using dk yarn, some of it pure wool, some a mix and some acrylic.

The scarf is finished with a shell edging made up by myself… I’m really happy with the finished result!
