Followed the pattern but CO 37 stitches. I made some math, and it’s the number of stitches that’s using the most of the yarn without running out of it.
Blanket will be 6x4 squares.
It’s really painful to knit with this yarn, which is dense and tightly spun - but is already pilling! It was a christmas gift, and taking a lot of space, so I decided to knit it as soon as possible. Maybe bigger needles would produce a more pleasant fabric to work, but the dense structure of the yarn wouldn’t bloom. I feel like there no ideal solution.
At least, I won’t care to throw the finished blanket on the garden grass and let my daughter play with it…
