Persephone comes back in the spring -- how appropriate for the timing of finishing this shawl!

I’m not sure I did the knitted-on border right: the directions were confusing as I read them, so I just did what sounded right after reading through several times, and it seemed to work. I figure I used about 600 yards for this shawl.

4/20 I’m momentarily stalled as I consider whether I’m getting the directions right for the border.

4/6 In the 11th repeat now, the rows are getting really long. My dad asked if I was knitting a beard.

3/29 Photo added in 6th pattern repeat.

3/18 In 3rd main pattern repeat. Sometime I should put in a lifeline.

3/10 -- starting again. Pushed through to first 8 rows of main pattern.

3/9 -- ripped out everything so far… lost count of stitches. Ugh, lace.
