Rather fast project. Very, very heavy. It’s like wearing a blanket, but it is very warm. After I finished, I’m not sure I like this colorway for the project. I see why other patterns break it up with white sections.

Pretty sure I used seven skeins, but I can only find the bands for six so I’m not sure yet what the other skein was. UPDATE: Figured out the dye lot. Not sure where it was used in the pattern, but you cannot tell a different dye lot was used.

I used a little bit of Red Heart in Aran. Not sure how much was used, but probably less than 100 yards.

Sleeves were the most complicated and had the least guidance. When I attached the main color and got to the shoulder sleeve, I put a group of DC in each corner, but that gave me 21 DC groups. I needed a multiple of 4 for the decreases at the end. I decreased over two CH spaces at the end of the section to bring it down to 20 DC groups.

I didn’t like the way the cuff was constructed. It decreased too fast for my taste. It’s also very tight, so keep that in mind.

Left off the pockets. Didn’t have enough yarn and didn’t want to sew them on to the cardigan.
