Obsession taken to whole new level. Modified to make in the round. (See Comments for modification explaination… message me for further questions…)

Yarn was gradient dyed attempt to salvage Critter Damaged thrift shop wool… long pieces were twice dyed in-the-ball shades of blue and green Wilton Food colors (purple is result of acid ‘breaking’ ) and the black was all the really short bits knotted together and dyed Wilton black (lumpy bumpy in a nasty way… but it was a test run, right?) Amazingly good black, I was surprised to discover.

Re: Modeled by Munchkin (short and bosomy DD#2) … Cowl is too bulky and too tall… Gonna try larger needles next time!

Have managed to poke a nice hole in my index finger with the needle tips… daggone dry skin+dye bath abuse… craft hands! Pictures tomorrow… it’s really beautiful and will be repeated when the finger heals!
