Notes

Test knit for Andrea. This is a very elegant, simple sweater, perfect for warm weather.

Notes to self:

  • I put a stitch marker in the increase row, that way I didn’t have to keep track of my rows, and only had to count back down to that marker. It moved up every time I increased.

  • REMEMBER to put a sleeve marker at the beginning and end of the row, and don’t remove them until you’re finished with the sleeves.

  • Used cabled c/o for front and back. Slipped first stitch of every row.

When doing sleeves:

  • throw a stitch marker after your wrap and turn, but before you start back the other direction, makes it easier to remember where your w/ts are; it’s also helpful to know how many stitch markers you’ll need for the size you’re making (for instance, I made the smallest size, so I had 8 w/t total);

  • when picking up stitches to start each sleeve, leave a very long tail and use it to seam up the sides- saves the step of weaving it in.

  • Short row method:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yVikAvPuE4 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFrVqx-iN7k
