I am a very “artistic” notetaker -- rarely a margin goes by which isn’t covered with doodles. Combine this with a math class my freshman year of college, as well as my favorite fractal and you get the Sierpinski Gasket’s translation into grid form. When I realized what my half-conscious sketching had procured, I knew I had to turn it into a knitting pattern. As soon as winter break began, I got this yarn and cast on!

The construction is top-down, stranded (with colors sometimes not changing for a very long while -- I had to wrap my floats a lot) with three triangle points meeting at the crown.
