3/17/10 - Wowsers, I can’t believe I haven’t taken pics of this one yet, because it’s my absolute fave knit, in fact, it’s been both blanket and scarf on my last two vacations!
8/10/09 - Weaved in the ends, now all I need to do is photograph it!
8/07/09 - All finished! And with not that much to spare, so I guessed very close to right on my yardage for this project. I think I’m getting better at that, and it makes me a happier knitter! :)
8/05/09 - Finished fourth ball at 8th row of my first decrease section; I’m still wondering how much I’ll have leftover from the fifth ball, after I finish! (I decided to just go for a big’un and added 5 extra straight section repeats, for a total of 17.)
8/01/09 - Added fourth ball at the end of the twelfth repeat, and I’m adding at least one extra straight section repeat, so there’s a good chance I’ll dip into the fifth (even though I was hoping to have one whole leftover!)
7/31/09 - Finished my 9th repeat of the straight section today, towards the end of the third ball.
Really makes me wonder what kind of leftover yardage I’ll have at the end. I was hoping this project would take it all up, but it looks like I’ll have at least half a ball to figure something else out with!
7/28/09 - Spliced the third ball in today. I got nearly 6 repeats of the straight section out of one ball, though - so I wonder how big it’ll end up after I finish it and drop all those stitches!
7/27/09 - Knitted though the first ball in one day. but the second has dragged a bit longer. It’s kind of nice, though… I don’t want to rush through this too fast, I’m very much enjoying the work on this one! Added one horizontal repeat, and just barely squeaked through the increase section into the straight section with the first ball. That means I have enough yarn, and I won’t run out! Hahaha!
7/24/09 - VERY impulsive cast on for this one, but the softness could not be denied! Loving it so far, the colors are so beautiful!
