I bought my Kumihimo starter kit from Ebay but didn’t use the cord provided, I wanted to practice first. So I used my Celebrate cord instead. I cut a metre from each colours twice so I have 4 pieces.

I followed the video below. Bestest instruction ever, great idea about the hands placement :)

Kumihimo is very, very addictive!

I used 3 colours and followed the video below (without volume!), orange pink & green.
I cut 2 metres from each colours. Fold in half, 1 metre. Now fold in half again and tie a pipe-cleaner to the middle. (12 strands)
The green is the accent colour (stand alone).

Discussion Questions:

1. Why do you think this book starts at the Riddle house when the last three have started at the Dursleys house?

With the Dursleys house we learnt about Harry Potter life. But with the Riddle house the book start on a dark tone and unsolved murder mystery. No rosy chapters in this book!
The Riddle house is somehow connected to Lord Voldemort.

2. After reading chapters 1 and 2: What do we learn about Lord Voldemort? What do we learn about Harry Potter?

The Devil is back!
He’s a murderer and he’s planning to do more killings. Lord Voldemort can speak with snake and he looks scary!
Somehow Harry Potter was aware of what had happen in that instant!

3. The Invitation…Are you surprised that Harry is allowed to go to the World Cup?

No I knew Harry would be allowed to go as soon as He mentioned his Godfather Sirius!
But when he first read the letter I thought no way he’ll get permission.

4. Back to the Burrow…this is one of my favorite places in these books. What is your favorite thing about the Burrow?

I would like to mention that my favourite part so far is Sirius Black letters being delivered by large brightly coloured tropical birds! (That’s not in the film version).
I’m also glad to read that the Dursley’s are off Harry’s back because now he has a “notorious” Godfather! hahahaaaaaa!!!!

I love Chapter 4, Back to The Burrow. Such an hilarious chapter after such a gloomy start!
I completely forgot about Dudley’s tail!
The Weasleys arrival by chimney to pick-up Harry Potter.
Poor Dudley got a wizard treatment again! Now his tongue!!
