I’m trying to figure out which yarn would be working, for this exciting MKAl. Maybe Wol en zo will dye some nice gradient for me.

Due to holiday and dying problems I had to think of something else. So I ordered this gradient from wollelfe. I hope it comes quick.

Wow that was quick. And what a lovely vibrant colour. Plus the wool feels nice and soft!

Ok made a swatch. Gauge is ok for size 3,5 mm. Not critical but I like to know where I stand cause I have exactly 1000m.
Now trying the setup. After some trials I think it is alright. I started on a 5 mm cause this seems very thight. It gives me a start with a double row.

I’m getting sued to the stitching. It still takes me more then 1 hour to do one row with all the diff types of stitches, so it is not a quick knit. But it looks good. So far I have to start row 11

, I finally get the hang of it. Clue 2 finished. I’m busy with clue 3. Won’t be in time for clue 5 though…

Almost there . Just the bind off which is also new to me.

Yes finished today! I must say the bo with the i-cord looks great, but it is a lot of work. It took 11 grams of my yarn. I have 19 grams left of my original 250 grams yarn.
The colour change is quite dramatic.
Only blocking is left to do.

It is still not dry! I had to stretch it quite a bit to get the stitches nice and even. So it is quite big!
47 cm by 264 cm! Talk about wrapping possibilities! I might use it laying on our couch, just for grabbing, in the winter when iI need it.

O my, I won the price with this MKAl! It came today, thanks to Jan from Magpielane crafts, I’m the proud owner of a gorgeous kit, with lots of little beads, rings, and tools to make my own stitch markers….. I don’t think I will have time to knit anymore?
Thank you thank you Jan you have spoiled me!
