Knitted garter stitch for the first few rows, and when started the increase rows, switched to stockinette. The yarn is too thick and heavy and round for garter stitch, I feel.

Adding the stitches as in the pattern, except for the sleeves, I’m adding only every other row. Making the added stitches from the thread between the stitches instead of kfb adds.

2.5mm dpns for the sleeves. The change in gauge shows quite badly, but I don’t own 3.0mm dpns, and I’ve decided not to like magic loop.

To be honest, there’s not much anything of the original pattern but the math in how many stitches I needed for each section. But because of that original (which also is lovely), I could knit this one.
