So tired of this present. THIS PATTERN/YARN BETTER WORK. :( I used the cable cast on since Lisa Steele was talking about only using that any more.

Okay, so this is turning out pretty well. MUCH happier with this yarn and pattern combo. Hopefully I didn’t screw up any row counts and I’ll have enough yarn. :X

7-23-14

Finished the first mitt, less the thumb. I’m saving those for last, in case I am short on yarn. I’m not going to use my 9” circ on the next one, ‘cause the YO rows and bind off were super painful on the base of my thumb. Hopefully the change to magic loop won’t make a visible difference. Starting mitt two!

Finished but for weaving in and blocking. Practically a month early! I feel awesome.

Found these had unraveled for no reason I could find. I was so sad. I’m going to give her a hat I made a while back instead. *crushed*

Pattern Shit

R22 starts the stockinette wrist; R52 starts thumb increases; R69 begins the hand; R74 starts top edging: 93 rounds total.
