This was my first double knit project. I enjoyed it, though I made mistakes on the spot size and they turned out oval on the sides and tiny on the top. I also messed up the ending closure so when Robert put it on the hole stretched out all huge, looked horrid, and then began to unravel. I’d planned to put a double knit ribbed brim on it to fold up but I’ll worry about that on the next and better incarnation.
