It will be a lot larger than the first as it is on 5.5mm with Aran and not 4mm DK. It felt odd at first but I really like working with the larger hook size.
I will work two strips and check she likes the colours before continuing.

Realised that when I substituted Stylecraft Aran for Red Heart the weight and yardage is different. I need to re-order as much yarn again, sigh.

18th November 2015 - just the tassels to do and then aim to send it off to Carol ASAP.
Measured the length for tassels by wrapping around a cd case. When it came to trimming them I decided on eight inched, which was the width of a place mat to measure and cut against.
