The instructions for this flare/edging will be included in V 2.0 of the pattern when I get around to working in all of the new modifications to the pattern. But, here are the temporary instructions for anyone wanting to use the edging from the get go now.

Work to 2-3” from desired skirt length. (2” if using an aran/worsted weight wool as used in the pattern as written with given gauge and size. 3” if using a heavy aran/light bulky weight wool as used in the Granny Smith Picture using the pattern as a gauge and calculate pattern with a SPI of 4”.)

Row 1: K3, M1B around
Row 2-5: Knit
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: Knit
Row 8: Purl
Use Double Crochet Bind off
Crochet 1 row of HDC
Crochet 1 row of Crochet Lace
