So, can you see the problem, I was talking about earlier? It´s perfectly executed here: Even if you fix the scarf by sticking your arms into the sleeves, what about the endless front endings, you could wipe the streets or get stuck on a door knob, happened to me not just once while catwalking, even catsitting is quite tricky with a „believe me it´s a scarf“, knocked down my tripod & the whole stage several times, which made it absolutely necessary to find a solution right away!
For health insurance reasons. I had to come up with an elegant device & my first choice was one of my varios cameos or clasps I have been collecting ever since I browse through fleemarkets, you all know those brooches the old romans used to fix their togas, well, I´m talking about the ancient romans, the already deceased ones, could have been young romans too, anyway, this stuff is very convenient & not that ancient at all, I can tell! I also tried hatpins, looks very pretty too, but who wears hats nowadays, except me? Yeah, you got me there, doesn´t this ring a bell, or a needle maybe? Every knitter has a bunch of needles at home, if you only use them for knitting your wearables, that´s your fault or simply lack of spirit! A knitting needle in use as a device to keep your – sorry, MY scarf in place & shape, oh Gosh, what an idea! Very low budget again & divine looking. I chose this solution for one of my never ending endless scarf-models, see for yourself, you might discover it on one of the fotos, I just don´t remenber myself, which one it was! Have fun, checking it out & let me know if you come across any results!
