Matching Waldorf doll sweater here

2/2 - measured Ciara’s chest and she is 19” at 22 months I measured Kaulini too and she is only 22” at 4 years old so this should be ok.. I hope!

2/1 - ended up with 8 button holes total. finished the body but it seems really narrow it’s only about 22” at the chest so I am going to try it on her.

1/25 - OK I have only knitted a couple inches past the armholes and I already have 5 button holes… that seems like a bit much

Gauge is 4.5 sts per inch

I didn’t have to make many mods to make this fit my big 2 year old (she wears size 3T).

Go up a needle size for a gauge of 4.5 sts per inch.
Split body from sleeves at 6”.
Knit 16 repeats of lace pattern on body for a length of 14”.
Knit 17 repeats of lace pattern on sleeves for a length of 7” from underarm.
Finished chest is 26”.
