9/17 - picked up the collar and knit 19 rows then finished it off.
9/14 - finished the sleeves and took to knit night. Ended up ripping the body back to above the pockets and adding the ribbing right there. A cropped sweater was more flattering with my figure.
9/10 - finished the body and added afterthought pockets. Knit 1x1 ribbing up from the live stitches and knit stockinette for the pocket bag. Because I wasn’t paying attention, I did about 3.5” of 1x1 rib for the waist. Due to enlarging the sleeve count, I’m decreasing every 4th row until the sleeves are small enough for my wrist. I’m working both at the same time.
8/23 - clearly this project got put on hold for a few others. I’m now past the division for the sleeves and working my way down the body.
5/15 - once I found the mistake in increases (my fault), I knew I was going to rip it back. That’s when I did my project research. Used ExecutiveKnitter and Lrapple05’s notes, I cast on the same number of stitches - but redistributed them. I also increased at the front neckline edge every 6th row, 6 times. I made a chart to know which were cable rows, increase rows and keep track of the stitch count. Hopefully this works. g
5/14 - I’ve had this sweater in my queue for a long time, but could never find the right yarn. I liked how the samples were knit up in this yarn, so added it to an order I was placing to get a deeper discount. Then, I had to order new interchangeable needles and cords. Finally working on it.
I’m finding the yarn just a tiny bit splitty but like how it’s knitting up. g
