Yes, the newborn size really did take less than a full day to knit. Cast on at 6pm Monday, took it to knit night and finished the yoke, divided for sleeves. Picked it up again for about 3 hours Tuesday and had it all finished.

If I knit this again, it would definitely be in a solid color yarn. I would also add a few stitches to the width and add another leaf repeat for length, since it seems both a bit short and tight.

Mods- garter stitch cuffs, collar, and right edge. Ruffled bottom edge (row 1-kfb, row 2- purl, row 3- kfb, row 4- purl, row 5 bind off).

Bound off all stitches with a size 8.
