Notes

I modified this a bit - I decided to get done a little sooner by leaving off the sleeves. The other benefit is now I can also wear it in the summer.

My other major mod was to knit from the top down in the round, eliminating any putsy seaming. It was fairly easy to make this modification, but my yarn was off guage, so that was more of a challenge than changing the pattern.

I eliminated many of the increases in the body of the sweater. I didn’t want it to end up too big or with the swing look that the original pattern has. I just did a few increases to allow for my hips, so they are within the bottom 4” of the sweater body.

I ended up redoing the neck 3 times. First it was too large, second time still too large, and with the third time you can see all my many decreases, so I think I will be taking it off again and starting off with less stitches. Anybody have any ideas for hiding my decreases in the garter stitching of the neck????

PS - I love this yarn! It has great drape, blocks beautifully, has a pretty sheen and is very easy to work with.
