Cast on 64 sts with 2mm circs.

Really enjoying this pattern with this yarn. The texture is making the colours zing.

At 10” of leg, still have about 5g before I need to start the heel flap. Hoping that will be enough to make a knee-length sock.

At 20g remaining from 50g ball, the leg is 11.5 inches (including cuff)

Am I missing something? There are no instructions about how many stitches are worked for the heel flap. Will use the instructions from the simple sock pattern and hope it works ok.

Finished the first sock. I love it, apart for the square toe finish.

Used almost exactly 50g of yarn. The weighing worked and I have an ‘almost’ knee-length sock. The foot could have been a little longer but I was afraid of running out of yarn.

I have 53gms for the second sock. I plan to work a longer foot and end with 12 sts in total for a less square toe.

Both socks 11” long. Pleased with result. Pattern suited this yarn wonderfully.
