Here we go!!!

October 10 Update : figured out how to do the colourwork using both hands! What a difference. So much faster without the tangling of yarn I always ended up with in the past. My tension is so much better too. So happy I decided to finally try it! I’m just about to start the decreases at the top of mitten one! :)

October 12 Update : started second mitten today. Half way through cuff!

October 21 Update : Second mitten is going somewhat slowly. Second mitt syndrome? Finished the first flower tonight.

October 28 Update : mittens done! Just need to do the thumbs. Love how these are turning out!!! Finished first thumb tonight. Had to break into the second ball of Newlands Kroy, feeling awfully worried I’m going to run out of the black before the second thumb is finished.
