Using stash yarn, on smaller needles as that’s what I have. Added two pattern repeats, but have now run out of yarn for the garter stitch edge and cast off. BAH.

Do I use a contrast or buy a ball of yarn for three rows…

Bought a new ball as I had nothing even remotely suitable in my stash yarn.

Used the rest of the ball to make a toque because she doesn’t have one and should driving the commute she does on the highway!
