Notes

Using stash yarn bits and gutting/frogging the Fruit Medley afghan I made a year ago - my eldest decided cutting it apart was a better idea so I’m using the salvageable squares.

After I finish this, I am going to go ahead and plan out a beautifully organized color scheme.

UPDATE - November 1, 2011
So I have taken a break from this afghan because I have been working on a few orders. Once the last order is done, which I am working on right now, I’m done with orders for the year and can work on this blanket then any other personal projects.

Update - December 5th, 2011
I finished this blanket this weekend! It wasn’t as big as I was hoping, because it was getting heavy… plus it’s cold and I wanted my blanket now. I was dreaming of a blanket that would cover a queen sized bed, but this would probably just touch the edges of a twin? I can sit in the chair with my feet up and knit/crochet while keeping warm. I love it. I literally wrapped it around myself this weekend when I went out to start the car (snow is crazy) and it’s so thick and warm, I couldn’t feel the wind (did I mention it was 6* that morning?!) I LOVE IT!
