Got three skeins of this yarn on clearance at walmart this past week for $1.50each. Making a long sleeve version for my 3 year old as a Christmas gift.

Dec 11 - Just started this today, hoping that I only use one skein so I can make another one with the same yarn!!

Dec 12 - I’d be lying if I said it has been relaxing to knit this. Actually, the first part (collar) really made me anxious - it’s my first sweater and seemed too small, but the ribbing allows for much stretch! So I’m not too worried about that now. Last night before bed, I was excited when I placed the stitches needed to make the sleeves, on scrap yarn - because I started to see the shape of the sweater MUCH better! I can’t wait to get more of the body done! Off I GO!

Dec 15 - done! turned out a bit shorter than I expected, my daughter is 3 so I made the 3t-5t size, thinking she’d have room to grow… nope. Sleeves were made to be long sleeve, but still were too short, just above her wrists and it was just to her pants’ waist line…. it’s cute, over a dress maybe? but I’ll make another one that is longer, much longer, since she loves it so
