2021-09-06: My daughter loves handmade socks. This was my second pair made with the Fleegle heel detail. The biggest challenge was getting the self-striping pattern to line up from the beginning - seems to be a big waste of yarn, but it wasn’t in vain because I used to to test my gauge and practice the eye-of partridge stitch which I’m hoping to use on the next pair.
For the bind off I used the Chinese Waitress bind-off to give a lovely, almost I-cord-like finish.
