Don’t exactly recall when I started this sweater for Charlie, but it’s been lingering in my WIPs for a couple of months at least. The ball band was destroyed shortly after I bought the yarn.

Modifications include:

• using K1P1 ribbing throughout (for better fit and to make it reversible)
• bind-off at leg openings (next time I’ll use a stretchy bind-off) and corresponding cast-on the following row
• short rows across the shoulders
• switching to flat knitting to open below the abdomen, then tapering with a K2tog at the end of each row
• some shaping to fit the rump and haunches
• tail loop
• garter stitch for 12 rows (also tapering with K2tog at the end of each row)
• a stretchy bind-off
