I’m a fairly loose knitter (not as loose as Petra though), and I’d like a slightly tighter fabric so I’m going down a needle size to a size 17.

CO 4 stitches onto a size 17 needle and knit to pattern through the second repeat of Part 2. I have extra yarn and I’d like this a bit longer so I’m adding a third repeat. Love it! I want the decrease section to mirror the increases (it’s my engineering nature, I like symmetry); knit Part 3 as follows:
Row 1 - K1 through back loop, YO, K2tog twice, knit to last stitch, slip with yarn in front
Row 2 - Ktb, purl to last stitch, slip

Repeat rows 1 & 2 til 4 stitches remain.

I’m not sure which side of this scarf I like better! Maybe I’ll make it reversible!
