Starting Weight 407 Grams: 1.025 skeins = 1794 yards
Ending Weight = 82.5 = 364 yards
Knitting approx 1430 yards
I gave this a medium difficulty rating but let me say that is only for charts A - E…..In the beginning, you really need to pay attention and not do anything else….but by the time you get to chart F, you know what you are doing and it is easy peasy!
OK, so I know I am crazy….I am already making one Hypernova with this yarn in Biker Chick Colorway, and my BF Awesomegrannie was going to make Hypernova with her Katahdin in Squash Blossom….well, this pattern just screams “Variegated Yarn”…So we ordered two skeins of this Perfectly Wreckless Colorway….well, the two skeins could not be more different. It is like one was at the beginning of the dyeing process (bright and vibrant) and the other was towards the end (more soft and lighter). Look at the picture of them next to each other in my stash…they do not even look like the same colorway. We are both going to make a Hypernova with this yarn and she wants to start on her birthday….. (so, yes, I should have 2 hypernova’s when I am done…it will take me years, and yes, I am crazy)!
This skein went around the bottom of my Blue Royal Ball Winder…….crazy!
