8 st/2 in on 7s, so going to 6s.

8 rows for ribbing. 6 made just under an inch; 8 is just over.

22 rows of cable plus rib=4” to start of sleeve increases

Blocking test: to end of sleeve increases.
Before blocking 10 wide x 15 long
After: 15 wide (blocked to measurement of pattern) by 15 3/4 long.

My favorite sweater rolled up to where I like it is 15” but it fits loosely at the underarm. Another one I like is 17”. I prefer not to roll up at the wrist, so I’m going with 17 instead of the 18.5 for my size.

Another error (the designer corrected the cable chart): The sleeve decrease counts don’t add up. AbbyNormal first spotted it and I will frog back to before I did the the BO 3 stitches/BO 2 stitches set. Arrgh.

Test blocking the back. At 14.25 inches long, and 13 3/8 wide, going to block to 20” wide to see if I lose length. (6 repeats plus 2 rows).
As soon as I blocked to 20” (no problems BTW, could go further), it did go to 13 3/4, but pats out easily to original length.

15.5 inches=7 full repeats
16 inches: 7 repeats + 4 rows.

10 repeats gives me 6” towards the shoulders. Each repeat, BTW, about 2”.
August 7, 2016
11 repeats plus 4 rows to begin back neck & shoulders.

Fronts: 8 repeats plus 2 rows to 4” after the underarm to start neck shaping.

I think the neck decreases are wonky. R front should be SSP not K2tog
9/12/16…and…DONE!
This was so worth the putting in time on a swatch; learning better finishing techniques. It is very slightly small on me, which is actually how I wanted it to fit. How about those buttons, huh? www.whitecloverkiln.com.
