This scarf knits up very quickly, once you have done one pattern repeat you should be able to see and start to memorise the lace for the rest of the scarf meaning you can put it down and yet pick up right where you left off.

I blocked this by putting my blocking wires through the YO’s at the edge, giving a bit of extra shaped to the sides. I also brought the ends to three points.

Beads are every 4th row.

One skein would have given a scarf of a perfectly acceptable size - I just wanted mine a little longer.

The yarn is fluffy like a mohair one but is actually alpaca and silk, this means it is very lightweight. The fluffly fibers stay bonded to the strand as you knit and wear the item, a bonus for such a ‘cloudy’ yarn.
