Provisional cast-on to start - this then meant I could just ‘K1, K2tog’ to the end of neckline when picking up sts for ruffle.

Self striping yarn.
Start with dark pink.
Ruffle - first four rounds with dark pink - ends will need weaving in. Light pink for the rest of ruffle - join in new sections as needed.
Sleeve stripes - keep to same width as body stripes, even if it means cutting yarn. Ribbed cuff in pink to match ruffle.
Used parts of just 2 skeins - even though I cut yarn to choose colours, and make the stripes even.
