This has been one of my favourite patterns for YEARS. It always gets a ton of compliments on the ones I’ve made for gifts and now I’ve finally made one for myself. I always find my guage to be off (too small) when I use the recommended hook size/yarn, so by increasing my hook size (I prefer 6-6.5mm) I end up with the correct size of hat for a worsted weight yarn.
